ACROSS LITE PUZZLE: [ THEMELESS MONDAY]

PRINTOUT PUZZLE: [ THEMELESS MONDAY]
PROGRAM: [Adobe Acrobat]
All the predictable topics were broached: Mike's recent contest puzzles for the Times, Joon's improbability that he won it and the fact he probably should have been disqualified since he's a Times contributor. I recounted war stories from the past M.I.T. Puzzle Hunt as I tried to recruit the two to my team. You might ask: did we try and make a puzzle? Yeah, to a degree. We did it without paper or computer, mind you, so if it's a piece of shit, don't blame us. Anyway, we placed three completely random entries without wondering if they may or may not actually work in a grid: STEFFI GRAF on top of POTATOES AU GRATIN on top of ANDROID APP. Not sure it's actually doable, but it seems promising. Stay tuned.
Good night out, that's for sure. Definitely a teachable moment, like all good beer summits.
Anyway, that's all I got. Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
