For those that know me best, they cannot/will not be surprised to see music clues dropped in my puzzles for good measure. Yes, even certain elite solvers have created a game wherein they created the most stereotypical BEQ music clue: {Third-generation ska/blorp jazz sextet with the novelty viral video "It's Flag Day (And I Love You)"}, e.g. These people will not be surprised by a certain marquee entry in today's grid; instead, they will be asking, "what took me so long?" These same people still will probably be surprised to hear that I happen to think a certain other marquee entry in the grid is some top-flight songwriting. (That's right I said it.) I will leave discovering what these two marquee entries are as an exercise to the solver.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
