For a very short while, I was trying to find a way to build a puzzle titled, well ... one of the theme answers that appears in this puzzle. I had a couple ideas, none of them were particularly promising, and a couple of them never should be seen by human eyes. At the end of the day, I felt that the most promising one would have just been a rip-off of this classic [ACROSS LITE] [PDF]. On the one hand, when you rip yourself off it's called "style." On the other hand, why try to improve on what was already perfect? So, the phrase went from the title and into the theme and a new puzzle was born. That's the great thing about crosswords, you've got a couple places to showcase new phrases. Hope you enjoy it.
