Subscribers to the AV Club puzzles already know that yesterday was my turn in the rotation. Fun fact: The theme for that puzzle was one of the many rejected ideas in the Great ACPT #5 Scramble of 2014. You may recall I proposed seven themes in the space of three days before the one that was deemed ACPT-worthy was finally accepted. Whew. I'd say I'd love another session where I was asked to vomit out theme ideas in the space of 48 hours, but I'd be lying. That was tough. Regardless. Enjoy that one. And enjoy today's offering.
If you're not a subscriber to the AV club, get on it, already, will ya? If you're coming here, you have no excuse. But there's another way to get them, if you like your chances in a completely random drawing, for you see, you can always chip in to the BEQ Holiday Drive. The puzzles on this site are free, there is never a need to subscribe as there's no paywall, but a $10 donation gives you the satisfaction of helping out the hardest working man in puzzles whose initials are BEQ. There may be harder working men and women, I haven't checked. But certainly no other harder working puzzle makers with the initials BEQ. They don't exist,so don't waste your time looking for them. As a thank you, ever tipper get three bonus puzzles immediately, perfect to help pass the time waiting in the checkout line. And one randomly selected donor will receieve all my books, plus subscriptions to the AV, Fireball, Gaffney contest, and Rows Gardens. A prize package estimated at something like $7,000,000,000, I think. Wow. Get on it.
