SOLVING HINT (highlight it to read it):This diagramless is 17 squares wide by 17 squares deep and has Left-to-right symmetry. The first square across is the third box in the first row.

I'd been meaning to do a diagramless crossword for some time now. Probably should have done it when the "Diagramless Crosswords" book dropped. No matter, better late than never, no? Heads up: no Java app today, you'll have to print it out if you're so inclined to do it. Sorry about that. But, if you want to solve it on your computer, may I suggest Ben Di Vito's freeware Diagnil? It's sort of a work in progress, but it should do the trick if you're into that whole not printing things out crusade.
