Now that's the life. Beach + off-camera drink with humiliating umbrellas in it + crosswords. Stellar job there, Matt Kamin of New York, NY. Like I always say: if you're going on vacation to sunny climes you have to make sure to pack two things: '70s cop show sunglasses and BEQ puzzles. Take it away, Matt:
My wife is pregnant, so we took a "last hurrah" vacation to Bermuda last week along with her parents and brother. I printed out and brought along about ten of your difficult puzzles to help me pass the time on the beach. As you can see from the photo I brought a clipboard with me for ease of filling out the puzzles. When I pulled that out of my suitcase my wife almost divorced me on the spot. When I went to the hotel Business Center to photocopy the puzzles for her dad and brother, I think she actually may have filed papers. Kidding of course, she actually packed the clipboard for me. You did a puzzle for us for our wedding so it was a nice circle for us, thanks and keep up the work.
I'm liking where this is going: BEQ puzzle at the wedding, BEQ puzzles as divorce-threatening material during the pregnancy, might I suggest naming your baby Emmett if it's a boy, Brenda if it's a girl? Anyway, Matt for your bravado you'll get a copy of "Diagramless Crosswords." Best part is that it's the gift that keeps giving. After you solve the puzzles, they make lovely diaper liners.
Keep those fan pics pouring in! Share the puzzle. New on Friday.
