CROSSWORD #304: Themeless Monday

Good Super Bowl for all the Green Bay fans as well as residents of Milledgville, Georgia. Right?

Anyway, about this puzzle: Ya gotta love grids where the seed entry is a 14-letter entry. In the above grid, I threw it in 19-Across, and was pretty pleased about flanking it with winners at 7-Down and 29-Across. Naturally, 48-Across came next, and by then it was pretty much a fun run to the finish line. Cluing felt pretty good. Glad to find the factoid at 37-Across. Liked the misdirection at 43-Down. Loved the quote at 55-Across. And ... scene.
