Oh, this is the Absolute Last Day to get the bonus themeless 21x21. Name me a better way to enjoy the long weekend than with a never before published themeless from your fave constructor. How about doing said bonus themeless while playing the Solving a BEQ Puzzle Drinking Game? The rules are simple, drink whenever there's a reference to:
- Some obscure music reference
- Some sports reference
- Some dubious entry like REURINATED (hopefully holding together an otherwise jaw-dropping corner, but I digress)
- Some dirty-looking/sounding clue
- Any strange looking letter combinations
- Hell, any new word/phrase that looks like you must have spelled something wrong in the first place (ACQHIRE, e.g.)
- Outright theft/homage of any work by any of the Crossword Jesuses
I suspect you'll be quite buzzed quickly. Unless your name is either "Dan Feyer" (because you would have solved the puzzle before the alcohol entered your bloodstream) or "Tyler Hinman" (because you're a frat brother who's fueled on Natural Ice).
