THEMLESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Had to double check the archives, because I swore that the first Themeless Monday of 2012 was designed with black squares in the shape of a "1" and a "2" in the center of the grid. It wasn't. I misremembered. 2011 was rung in with an "11" in the black squares. If I'm going to keep this pattern up, I guess you can expect to see a "15" in the center of the Themeless Monday of January 5th, 2015.
This one's a mighty strange grid. Only 66 words in the puzzle, however twenty-two of them are a measly three letters long. Yikes! That's a dubious feat that hopefully is never duplicated.
Gentle reminder, this is the final week to contribute to the year-end drive. A $10 tip or more not only keeps your favorite puzzle maker thriving, but gets you a never-before published Sunday-sized themeless puzzle as a thank you. You're here, aren't you? That means you like the Themeless Monday crosswords. Why not get one that's twice the size and twice the fun of your regular weekly addiction? As an additional bonus, one randomly selected donor will receive a copy of a copy of "Sex, Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll Crosswords," as well as a year's subscription to Fireball Crosswords. Thanks again to all who were able to contribute.
Reminder, the new Visual Thesaurus puzzle is up. Go to it.
Happy New Year, everybody. Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
