Oldie but goodie from the BEQ files. This one originally ran in the Onion some five years ago. Ye gods. I've modernized some of the cluing, but I've always thought this was a pretty cool theme. In case you forgot, the Onion puzzle called it a day, but has risen Lazarus-style, and is now called the American Values Crossword Club.
