THE HAR BOWL: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Quick note on today's puzzle: I made a crossword for a different client last week that had the entry HARBOWL. Alas, a revision was required, and unfortunately the entry was no more. But I felt it was just one of those words that just had to be used in a puzzle, somehow, before the window's closed for good. So, here we are. Enjoy.
Quick reminder: my latest AVXC puzzle came out yesterday. If you're a subscriber, chances are you already did it. For everyone else, click here to join in on the fun.
Quick plug for one of my friends: The surely-to-be-sainted-someday Mike Selinker is going to be publishing what looks to be a pretty amazing puzzle novel next year called "The Maze of Games." Mike says it's "a full-length, limited edition, hardback puzzle novel with over 50 puzzles and a deeply engaging story, all woven together in a 'solve your own adventure' style." If it's anything like Mike's other work, it'll blow minds. So yeah, if you haven't already, pop on over to the project's Kickstarter and throw him a few spondulicks, will ya? It's the only way to get your hands on it. Now, it should be mentioned that yours truly will be contributing a puzzle to "The Conundrucopia," the supplementary puzzle pack that comes along with the book. Mike managed to convince all his puzzle making friends to make puzzles in the style of 19th-Century puzzle god Sam Loyd (check out his "Cyclopedia" here) and I'm psyched to give it a go. He's already convinced Thomas Snyder, Patrick Berry, and Ken Jennings to be in it. Rumor has it many many more big names are to be announced soon.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
