THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
I had to a double take when I looked at the calendar this morning. Hard to believe that we're only three weeks out from the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, but its true. Time seems to be evaporating before my very eyes, and I'm not sure if fatherhood is to blame. Or maybe it's to be filed under "I'm just getting old." One thing's for sure I will not be singing "time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping, in the future," because I absolutely loathe Steve Miller.
I digress. So yeah, the ACPT is going to be in Brooklyn again, and me and my girls are already booked to go on down. Should be fun. I'm not competing, nor am I writing a puzzle for the tournament, but I'll be judging as well as talking shop. Sure, the ACPT is a major competition for the superduperstars of speed solving, but frankly for the rest of us mortals, it's "the other family reunion." I'll post more about the ACPT as I find out about it, but in the meantime, you should sign up to go (or do the play at home version). And I'll see you at the bar.
Oh yeah, there's still time to enter the latest BEQ contest. Deadline is end of the day Wednesday. Get to it, if you haven't already.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
