THEMELESS MONDAY: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
Behold the 4x10 corners in the northwest and southeast sections. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't planning on making them that chunky. After putting the obvious seed at 1-Across, I'd initially played the grid having three 10s on a 15. It wasn't until I was "done" that I realized I could make it two 10s and two 15s, which seemed just too dang wide open not to go with. Of course, that meant having to do it all over again in the bottom. Once those were done, the rest of the grid was locked in, and miraculously easier to finish up. First time in a long time that, where I made the hard parts of the grid first. No matter. Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks again for everybody who has been able to chip in for this early summer "pass the hat drive." I'm not going to start charging subscriptions, free means "free" (hey, that sounds like a good t-shirt slogan). Regulars to the site know the drill, if you can give, great. If not, don't sweat it. If you can give $10, I'll hook you up with three bonus puzzles (two Sundays, one variety). And a reminder, I will personally help one randomly selected donor make a puzzle. So what are you waiting for? This is the last week of the drive, so act now.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
