Those that know me best know that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I know I am truly blessed: I love my wife and my daughter, and I have the best job on the planet. It's impossible for me to complain. Seriously, I get to hang out with Liz and be Tabitha's dad (who just recently started signing "Daddy, you're the best" to the tune of the Eagles' "Take It To the Limit"). And then on top of it, I get to make crosswords? Who won the lottery? This guy. This guy right here. Oh, and then you're telling me that I get to eat myself sick today too? \m/ Normally I look forward to getting ill with pecan pie overdose, and don't get me wrong, I'm going to do just that. But no, this year, I'm really looking forward to stuffing for some reason. This might be the first time. Anyway, let me repeat myself: I am blessed.
Now, for those that know my site know that I open up the tip jar every Thanksgiving. IMPORTANT REMINDER: The site is free, forever and ever. People ask me how to subscribe and I tell them it's impossible, because there isn't any mechanism. These puzzles are yours to solve and share twice a week gratis, and that's a promise. Having said that, I ask that if you liked the puzzles these last couple months to please consider throwing in just $10 to keep the machine running smoothly. And those that have tipped before during these appeals know that they will be sent three bonus puzzles. This time around it's two Sundays (one themed, one themeless), and two Helter Skelter puzzles. Is that four puzzles? I can't count. I sort of thought two Helter Skelters were "one" puzzle, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, you get a couple bonus never before seen BEQ puzzles to help distract you from family you don't want to talk to this holiday season. Seem's like a no-brainer, right? So chip in. If you need even more BEQ in your life, and you're not already a subscriber, throw in another $15 and sign up for either Marching Bands or Diagramless. Heck, make it a double and get yourself both for just $25 more. It's a puzzlepalooza.
But wait, how about a bonus free puzzzle, today? Why not. Go do today's BuzzFeed by your's truly.
Here's the penultimate post/reminder about custom puzzles for the holidays: Black Friday is tomorrow, and maybe you start your shopping then. So if you're going for a custom crossword for the puzzler in the family do it now. Crosswords make great gifts for wedding proposals, too. So email me today.
Share the puzzle. Hit the tip jar. New puzzle on Monday.
