Stacked answers? Why the heck not. A stack with the marquee answers outside of said stack? Why the heck not indeed. Since these puzzles tend to fall in the realm of the “stunt grid/showoff” department, let me add the additional bit of tooting my own horn by saying none of the crossing words in the middle is three letters long. Okay, enough of that nonsense. I do truly hope you will enjoy it. Cheers.
Share the puzzle. New one on Thursday.
That was sick. Those 15s lined up quite well with no garbage fill at all. Well, I didn’t like 38A, but that’s a wee thing and maybe it’s because I’m old. Well done!
I can think of a north-of-the-border constructor who could learn a lot from this puzzle.
Well constructed sir. I wonder how many 9Ds there’ll be after November.
Nice stack. Very good puzzle.
Nicely done, and appropriately hard for me. At first I was going to say the clue for 10 down should have had an upper case “r” for “right,” but I guess that would have been too much of a giveaway. Or “gimme,” as Rex P. would say.
One of the best. I took some time trying to fit “asylum seeker” in 9D. Liked how it sat next to 10D and across the grid from the timely comment in 3D.
