Shout out to Andy Kravis for bringing today's seed answer to my attention. The gauntlet drop was to put it at 1-Across, but hey, it just didn't quite work out that way. No matter. Thanks, Andy. And hey, if you're not already checking out his website, you should.

Another shout out to BEQ fan Hairestoyou. Real name: TBD. Regardless, she posted the above pic on Instagram, and if there's one way to get my attention, it's to post a picture of a crossword and a beer. Okay, it's a Bud Lite, and yeah it's my puzzle, but who cares? Those are two great tastes that taste great together.
