Tip o’ the cap, lift o’ the beer can, whatever, to Jon Delfin for the inspiration for today’s theme. IF there’s ever such a thing as a Crossword Hall of Fame, not only will Jon be a first-ballot inductee, but also a lot of People Who Talk About Crosswords would get really angry about who was or wasn’t a nominee. Which obviously, is the whole point of these silly exercises. “I cannot believe that A. J. Santora was ignored once again!” (flips table over) Anyway, thanks Jon. Appreciate it.
Looking for more puzzles? The Hub Crossword (Sunday puzzles by me and Emily Cox and Henry Rathvon) and Marching Bands year six have begun. So if that To Do list needs even more puzzles, you know what to do.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
SPOILER: How on earth did I know that HOWIE was the answer to the Backstreet Boys question?
Anyway, thank you for your puzzles. They have been helpful during a difficult time.
Really appreciating the peculiar placement of Js within this grid.
Ha, I didn’t get it until I finished the puzzle and looked back over it. Very clever.
But it was easy, not medium. I stopped in the middle to pour some cereal and milk in a bowl and still finished in 6:42.
Your Across Lite puzzle link doesn’t work. Again.
I’ve never had a problem with the .puz link.
Why is “Sashimi fish” a good clue for AHI?
