When people meet me and hear about my career, they just assume that I know a lot of stuff/words. I guess that's true, but it's more like knowing the names of stuff instead of actually knowing anything. So it's not much a surprise that people ask me if I've either been on, or plan on going on "Jeopardy!" For a brief moment in my over-confident mind, I thought I'd try and get on, but who'm I fooling? I'm a blithering imbecile. Now, I know a lot of people who've been on "Jeopardy!," but it's extremely rare that one of my friends gets on the show and an article about him announcing going on the show appears in a newspaper. So yeah, Steely Dan Feyer, one of the heads on the speed solving Mount Rushmore, is going on "Jeopardy!" October 7. Get ready, should be a blast.
And yes. This news has rekindled my interest in applying. But who'm I fooling? I'll forget about this feeling around lunchtime.
Boswords Fall Themeless League starts next Monday. Preseason begins tonight. Have I mentioned that I'm in the mix of constructors? I have mentioned that already. Anyway, tournament director John Lieb told me he'd get me a new car if I got it over 1000 competitors by next Monday, so do me a solid and sign up already if you haven't.
I've been told that this puzzle's a doozy. So consider yo' selves warned.
