For as long as I've been doing puzzles and going to the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, I have never ever heard of it selling out. Crazy, but true. Congrats everybody, we broke Stanford, Connecticut. Golf claps, all around. Well, the bad news is that if you were asleep at the wheel, well, we won't be seeing you there. Those are the breaks. The good news is that if you did manage to snag a spot, by my count five previous ACPT winners won't be in attendance, making this possibly your year. You know who "you" are in this case. I'm really only talking to like 4 or 5 people here, but you know who you are. You've got this. I believe in you.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. See you there, I still have the baby ZZ Top beard.
