CROSSWORD #1653: Plus Fours

Kind of a weird/hard one today. Still, I dig this one. Hopefully you do. And if you don't (and even if you do), why don't you head on over to Atlas Obscura and do my puzzle for them called "Walk This Way." Another weird one, but less out there. I think you might like that one, too.
